Roderick Terry family and business papers, 1829-1855.

Primarily business correspondence to the Hartford, Connecticut, grocer, merchant and dealer in iron, steel and nails, Roderick Terry & Co. The most frequent correspondents were E.D. Morgan & Co., W.H. Phelps, and Terry's son, John T. Terry. Also includes at least one letter to Terry from another son, Edward W. The collection contains incoming and outgoing correspondence of Frank Henry Terry; the primary correspondents were his brother Lucius Hall Terry, E.W. Taylor and W.C. Hyland. Papers of Joseph W. and John Cone also form part of the collection, although their relationship to the Terry family is not clear.
